Erica Bowe

I’m Erica, a fashion designer who loves ripping up old clothing & re-making them into fabulous new pieces.

 I’m inspired by the transformation, of something old & forgotten into something unique & special.

 I first began sewing as young as 3 yrs old, when I’d lay on the ground & press the sewing foot for my Mum as she’d make me clothing.

In high school I’d make t-shirts out of sheets and paint my own shoes, I always wanted to look original & making my own clothing has always made me feel unique.

I studied fashion design straight out of school but struggled with industry practices such as the environmental impact of fast-fashion & slave labour.

Making my designs using second-hand clothing means I can do what I love & know that I am supporting our home that I value so much.
